Rudy
von Berg
You could say that being a triathlete is in Rudy von Berg's blood. His first trip to the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii took place at the age of five, when he watched his dad compete. That pilgrimage became a regular family trip, and watching the world's greatest triathletes left Rudy with one thought: that could be me. Though Rudy grew up in France, he chose to attend university in Boulder to be part of one of the best collegiate triathlon teams. After graduating in 2017, he is all triathlon, all the time. In 2019, Rudy won Ironman 70.3 regional championships in North and South America as well as Europe. Rudy also made the podium at the 70.3 World Championships where he came third. In 2021, Rudy made three Ironman 70.3 podiums, including a win in Switzerland.
