Questions /

What is your favorite family tradition?

Sweet Cow Sundays! After our long runs on Sunday, Rinny and I take our daughter Izzy for ice cream at our favorite creamery Sweet Cow.

If you could have a dinner party with any 3 people in the world, dead or alive, who would you pick?

David Grohl from the Foo Fighters and our wives!

What is the best advice you were ever given?

"Show your heart." Lawrence Van Lingen, my run advisor, told me that a few days before the Ironman World Championships. Show your heart, be vulnerable and let it go. It really helped me race freely and race with passion and joy.
