Jakob Egholm is a talented all-rounder. He won the 2016 Junior World Championships road race and went on to develop his skills with Hagens Berman Axeon, the highly successful Under-23 team managed by former pro Axel Merckx before joining Trek-Segafredo for the 2021 season on a one-year contract. The 23-year-old showed a willingness to learn while supporting the Team in his neo-pro season, which made for an easy decision to extend his contract. A versatile rider, Jacob is still developing and finding his niche within pro cycling.
