Kiel Reijnen was a late-bloomer to the big league, joining Trek-Segafredo, his first WorldTour team, at the age of 29. He is a versatile rider and caught the eye of Trek-Segafredo at the Tours of Utah and Colorado in 2015 by winning a stage in each race.  Since joining Trek-Segafredo, Kiel has matured into a top WorldTour domestique and is an integral part of the sprint lead-out. In the off-season, Kiel escapes to his home, Bainbridge Island near Seattle, and spends a lot of time managing the Kiel Reijnen All-Stars, a junior cycling team he helped create to get more kids into cycling.
