Letizia
Paternoster

Letizia Paternoster signed with Trek-Segafredo in the Team's inaugural 2019 season and won their maiden race, sprinting to victory in Stage 1 at the Tour Down Under. She was one of the most prevalent Junior talents to come out of Italy in the last few years and is widely known for her results on the track. Letizia made the transfer to elite road racing look easy. She won her first pro race, GP della Liberazione but winning a stage and the overall in the Festival Elsy Jacobs (Luxembourg) put her on everyone's radar. In 2021, Letizia focused on the track for the rescheduled Tokyo Olympics and the World Championships.  She capped the season with an emotional win, taking a historic rainbow jersey in the first-ever Elimination race at the World Championships.
