Helle Fredriksen takes a strong podium at IM 70.3 Elsinore
It was a wild weekend for Helle Fredriksen at the IM 70.3 Elsinore, this year’s 70.3 European Championships. Helle came out of the water with a strong lead over eventual winner Melissa Hauschlidt, but sadly lost ground on the ride after contacting with a curb and subsequent tire puncture.
Nevertheless, Helle soldiered on to finish second, and was happy with the performance. The fitness is there, and all signs are good for the upcoming ITU Long Distance World Championships, and her inaugural Kona World Championships.
