Through the torrential downpours endured by the Giro d’Italia peloton this year there has been one thing that has relished the rain more than any other (and it’s not wet-weather enthusiast Mads Pedersen)… Presenting Santini’s Power Clean Detergent!
Trek-Segafredo’s technical clothing partner Santini has been working diligently behind the scenes to craft the perfect complement to their race wear and it’s passed the soggy Grand Tour test with flying colors.
The detergent has been laboriously created to be the perfect solution for washing your cycling kit, whether you’re the type of rider to throw it in the washing machine as soon as you strip off post ride, or prefer to get your hands d̶i̶r̶t̶y̶ clean by treating it to a hand wash. We all know that a wardrobe of top-quality cycling clothing is valuable to any cyclist, so the last thing you’d want to do is wash your kit in sub-standard detergents and risk damaging that oh-so-soft chamois or the figure-hugging elasticity.
Us at Trek-Segafredo have many passions in life, but none more important than clean cycling kit, winning races, and the environment. Santini are helping us to take care of all three, and, given that their detergent is 100% rapidly biodegradable you no longer have to worry about your laundry soap damaging the environment when you’re out enjoying a bike ride.
Rumours have begun circulating that not only does the Power Clean Detergent result in sparkling clean clothing, but strangely enough our riders’ jokes are funnier and they are reported to be up to 50% more handsome. We’re unable to substantiate these claims, but they always say there’s no smoke without fire.
