Toon and Ellen takes wins on Saturday and Sunday's races
The Telenet-Fidea Lions had a weekend to remember with wins on Saturday’s Soudal Jaarmarktcross race, and Sunday’s Superprestige.
Starting things off on Saturday was a strong victory by Toon Aerts.
Toon came into the weekend ready, knowing that he can do well in the muddy conditions.
"It was a very nice day to take the win in Niel for the second time. The track fits me perfect and the weather conditions made it even better for me!"
Ellen Van Loy put the exclamation point on the weekend, by taking a strong win in Sunday’s Superprestige, taking the win in a dramatic sprint finish to line.
Continuing the run of good fortune was Tom Pidcock, who took the U-23 race.
