After several successful season in the junior categories, including a win at the 2018 Junior World Championships in Switzerland, Kade Edwads moves over to Trek’s new factory downhill team.

Always a man of elaborate phrasing and extensively detailed analysis, Kade is keen to make his mark on 2019. See below for Kade’s comments for his decision to join Trek.

Why join Trek for 2019?

Because they make the most bad-ass bikes!

What are your personal goal for the 2019 World Cup season?

Ride fast! Look Good!

What will people see when the new team arrives at the World Cup?

We gunna be chillin! And holding it loose!

What people should know about you?

I'm clumsy and I crash a lot!

2019 will be one for the record books, and the first rider certainly has lots to say about this…
