Lidl-Trek bookended the Tour de Pologne with podium results on stages one and three of the race.
The final 128.2-kilometer long stage was again a flat race through the southern Polish countryside from Naleczow to Krasnik with a number of early attacks trying to go clear but, the peloton kept everything under control as teams targeted the intermediate sprints.
Anne Knijnenburg (VolkerWessels Cycling Team) eventually got away, together with Marie-Louise Hartz Krogager (Denmark), with 60km to go before eventually pushing on alone. The peloton let her hang out at front of the race, maintaining a steady pace to ensure a controlled catch which, in the end, came with only 500 meters to go.
Chiara Consonni (Canyon-SRAM zondacrypto) launched her sprint early on the cobbles and was able to open up a gap to take the stage win and the overall General Classification while, Norgsaard eventually came across the line in third place to wrap up the three-day race on the podium.
The girls did a really really good all day today, trying to cover the early attacks and then, in the final, Ava and Clara did an amazing job to bring me into the right position to be able to contest the finale. It was super hectic and fast, but we did our best and there was a lot of good teamwork from us again today.
