Liam showed off a penchant for hard efforts in 2023, finishing 11th in the junior men's individual time trial at World Championships, and second in Ireland's junior men's time trial and road race championships. In 2024, he showed off his climbing chops, too, and won the youth classification (third on GC) at Flèche du Sud. He's a hard man to slow down on Lidl-Trek Future Racing.
