You’d be hard pressed to find a more approachable athlete than Holly Lawrence. Standing out has been as much a survival mechanism as it is a personality trait for Holly, who makes up 1/3 of the fraternal Lawrence triplets of Somerset, England. She entered her first triathlon at 16, and ten years later shocked the multi-sport world by winning the 2016 World Ironman 70.3 Championship, seemingly out of nowhere. She followed up in 2019 by again standing on the podium at that prestigious competition. Holly has 17 Ironman 70.3 wins and her favorite post-race meal is a hamburger. She giggles a lot. She is unapologetically herself.

If your house was on fire and you could only save one possession, what would it be?
I’d probably have to say my disc Madone - I love my road bike and get so much enjoyment riding in the mountains.
If you could borrow a cycling skill from any rider in Trek Factory Racing, what would it be?
Probably the handling skills of a mountain biker - I need some help in the descending department!
What is your favorite family tradition?
Christmas morning we'd wake up and open our presents downstairs in our PJ’s in the lounge while drinking Buck’s Fizz and listening to Christmas music. Then I’d go for a long run with tinsel in my hair before the big feast!
