New look for the hardest working team in show business
The Telenet-Baloise Lions are ready for the 2020/2021 season with a fresh look. The perennial good-guy-team of cyclocross comes into the season with a loaded roster of young talent (to be announced in the coming weeks) and a look to match.
Trek’s product designer Micah Moran had the homework for updating the look.
I abide by the mantra of 'Keep Cross Weird'

“I abide by the mantra of ‘Keep Cross Weird’ so that was at the front of mind as I designed the Boone race scheme,” said Moran. “Cross is a sport of constantly changing camera angles, so the asymmetric design keeps the design dynamic no matter how you view it. Trek has placed an ‘X’ on every cross bike we’ve produced for the last 20 years, so I covered this one with a textural ‘X’ pattern.”
“The tonal blues are a nod to the original Trek Cyclocross Collective team that marked Trek’s reinvestment in sponsoring top tier CX athletes and programs,” says Micah.
