Double Podium Day in Burgos and Poland!

Ciccone takes second in Vuelta a Burgos while Teutenberg takes third in Pologne

After crashing in the final meters of Stage 1, Cicco has bounced back today in Burgos. The 184km stage that concluded in Valpuesta, saw Cicco go clear with a select group of 4 others on the final climb, the Puerto de Orduña 20km from the finish and held off a chasing group all the way to the line to battle for victory between themselves. Bisiaux of Decathlon AG2R jumped clear in the last km to take the win while Ciccone took the sprint just behind in second.

In Tour de Pologne, it was a day for the sprinters and luckily for us, we’ve got Tim-Torn Teutenberg on form! Despite being a man down after Vacek unfortunately crashed out on yesterdays stage 3, the team rallied behind our young German fast-man on the 201km stage from Rybnik to Cieszyn. With the last of the breakaway reeled back in with 2.5km to go, it was all set for Tim. On the line it was Magnier who took the victory while Tim crossed the line in third. 3 more stages left in Poland and 2 more in Burgos for our boys to take home a W!
