Lidl-Trek has three riders in the top-10 after a fast and furious prologue in Belgium
Lidl-Trek made an impressive start to the 2026 Baloise Ladies Tour on Wednesday evening with three riders in the top-10 after the opening prologue in IJzendijke. Belgian Fleur Moors claimed third place, while Felicity Wilson-Haffenden followed closely in fourth and Anna Henderson came in eighth after the fast and technical 3.9-kilometer individual time trial.
On a course where every fraction of a second mattered, all riders produced composed, powerful rides with aerodynamic and efficient time trial set-ups, perfected thanks to extensive wind tunnel testing. Racing on home roads, Moors delivered a confident time trial performance to further confirm the promise she has shown all season so far, while Wilson-Haffenden once again demonstrated the time trial discipline has become one of her defining strengths, narrowly missing out on the top-three.

These results provide the team with multiple options as the race moves into the flat road stages across Belgium and the Netherlands. With bonus seconds, crosswinds and further time trialing still to come, Moors, Wilson-Haffenden and Henderson have put themselves in strong positions in the general classification after day one.
Now the opening test is complete, Lidl-Trek heads into stage one carrying momentum and confidence, well-positioned to continue an aggressive week of racing.
In Fleur's words
It’s nice to come away with a third place, I am happy! At first after the prologue I was a bit disappointed because I saw the power I pushed and I was what I expected, but I think in the corners I did it very well because I don’t have any fear in the corners, so I think this was what gave me my third place. In the end it is about the place you have, not just about the power.
It’s a really nice third place and gives confidence for the next days. I hope it will be a nice race, there is going to be a lot of wind so I hope for aggressive racing and a nice week of racing with the team.
