Our most successful national championships EVER

10 new national titles across the men's and women's squads

The national championships are a special time for fans and racers alike – who will have the honor of representing their country’s flag each time they line up? For Lidl-Trek, it turns out, quite a few of our riders will have that honor. Way back in January, Brodie Chapman already claimed the Australian road race champs, and has been racing in the Aussie green and gold all year. Elisa Longo Borghini added to the tally on the women’s side, again doing the double in the road race and time trial, and taking over the former title from her convalescing teammate Elisa Balsamo.

The men’s Lidl-Trek team made it clear that they are firing on all cylinders across the board. They won more national titles than any other team – a total of eight, including five road race champions.
