The Italian national champion made it three victories from the opening three stages, powering to another dominant sprint after 193.5 kilometres from Gorzów Wielkopolski to Zielona Góra.
After victories in Koszalin and Szczecin, Milan once again proved untouchable in the bunch finish, capping another outstanding team performance to complete a perfect opening trio of stages.
The team were active from the very beginning. Milan himself briefly jumped into the day’s early breakaway, forcing other teams to react before easing up and returning to the peloton once the move had served its purpose.
Later in the stage, Matteo Sobrero bridged across to the lead group, giving us the ideal tactical advantage. With a rider represented at the front of the race, the team could sit back and allow the other sprint teams to shoulder the responsibility of controlling the gap, saving energy ahead of the finale.The strategy worked perfectly. The breakaway remained clear until just inside the final five kilometres, only being caught as the race entered the run-in to Zielona Góra.
Once the race came back together, the guys immediately switched focus to setting up Jonny who proved the strongest yet again, further strengthening his grip on the race leader’s jersey.

I know my shape is good at the moment. I really trained hard in the build up to this race and was really motivated for a strong second half of the season. The team did a brilliant job today and really believed in me so when everyone's committed then I know the results come. I saw two guys attacking at the start of the day and I was at the front so said 'why not follow' so when we got a little gap I just stayed up there until things came back together.
