Trek-Segafredo is proud to welcome Pirelli as its official tire sponsor for the 2020 season
As one of the world-leading tire manufacturers, top-level racing has always been a part of Pirelli’s DNA. To further accelerate its strategy towards an ever-growing involvement in professional cycling, the Italian company has partnered with Trek-Segafredo with the mission to push the technical boundaries of the sport of cycling.
The 2020 Santos Tour Down Under – where both the men’s and women’s squads are racing on Pirelli’s P Zero Velo Tubular tires – marked the start of the collaborative partnership in which Trek-Segafredo and Pirelli will work closely to develop specific and unique tire solutions to excel in the competitive world of professional cycling.
The technological aspect is at the core of this partnership with Pirelli as it will also see a continuous comparison and technical development on the product, with particular emphasis on the new P Zero Velo tubular.
The result of this process of performance testing and validation, which will continue throughout the season, will lead to developing cutting edge products that will then be made available by Pirelli for all fans.
