Cooper Ott launches 2017 program

Big Mountain Enduro champion gets ready for full season

Cooper Ott took 2016 by storm, winning several rounds of the Big Mountain Enduro (BME) series, the overall of the BME, and even scoring a top-10 in the Enduro World Series (EWS).

2017 looks to be no different. Already with a win under her belt at the Moab stop of the Enduro Cup series and a win at the Grand Enduro in Grand Junction, Cooper is en route to a successful year.

Cooper will tackle a full season of racing including races at the BME, EWS, and Enduro Cup. Although racing has begun, training and riding is still taking place, even in the turbulent Rockies,

"The biking season is off to an unpredictable start. Half the time waking up to snow on the ground, or even a full on winter storm. I am trying to stay positive and know that it is only May and there is a long season ahead. My main goal for the season is to better my bike handling skills. I want to conquer my fears and ride new trails and features! As far as a racing goal, I want to race clean, with no big mistakes! I think that with the better handling skills will come clean, crash free races. I am fortunate to have a great skills coach who also happens to be my husband. Can't wait to see what happens this season! "

Cooper will be racing with the Honey Stinger mountain biking team in 2017. The Steamboat Springs, Colorado based program also competes in cross country, and continues to be one of the strongest off-road programs in the country.
