An up and down weekend for the two person squad
Ask many to find Andorra on the map and you could be met with confusion. Those who know Andorra however are well versed in its exceptional beauty. High in the Pyrenees, this small nation of 76,000 swelled to accommodate the first double round (both DH and XC) of the 2019 UCI World Cup.
It was an up and down affair for the DH squad, with excellent qualifying times not finding themsleves in the race runs. Either way, a great time was had, and the images speak for themselves. All images from Ross Bell and Matthew Delorme.
Simply incredible views
With both XC and DH in town for racing, the setup is in full force
RC cars? Pretty much every day.
Track walk always providing a sweet view
Full crew finding the lines
The course in Andorra is one of the most dramatic, with nearly 800 meters of drop
That way seems legit
Time to clean the gear and get to riding
Triple checked, ready to ride
Practice meant seeing the course at full speed...
...and at no speed
The team qualified well with both inside the top 25
Race day
Full flex
Time to go!
Reece would end up coming in 46th
A flat would cost Kade a shot at a solid result
A great time had by the team, and now they turn their full attention to Les Gets, where they hope to turn their luck around!
