EWS Val di Fassa

Pedro Burns the solo representative at Italian EWS round

With two riders out due to injury, Pedro Burns became the lone representative of the Trek Factory Racing team. Pedro fought through some initial mistakes to come back and score a 33rd final position. In his own words,

Italy offered us some amazing views and good riding. It was a difficult start to the race for me, after a crash on the first stage and some mistakes on the second and third I was in 45th position going into the tech zone. I wasn’t riding as I wanted, but after the tech zone I found my focus and I could finally attack the ride in the last two stages to get back some positions, ultimately finishing up 33rd. Not a bad result for a bad day of racing, I know I can do it better and I am looking forward for the next race in France! Was really good to have Katy back with us and I hope Ruaridh be back racing ASAP, we miss him. Like always the team did a great effort and everything worked perfect!

It was the Pedro Burns show this weekend!
