Time Reed takes a pair of wins at IM 70.3 Bintan and IM 70.3 Sunshine Coast
It was a busy and fruitful couple of weeks for the affable Aussie Tim Reed. After a disappointing fourth place at the IM 70.3 Asia Pacific Championships in Cebu, Tim began to see a noticeable uptick in his output, and and was keen to show it. That inclination would prove to be well founded with two wins in as many weeks.
From Tim Reed,
“I felt my fitness really lift and my form was a little better two weeks later at Ironman 70.3 Bintan taking a hot but satisfying victory. Again, I felt that the hot racing only lifted my form without damaging the legs too much and so jumped into Ironman 70.3 Sunshine Coast and had another win. I’ve never won two events in two weeks, so to say I’m surprised is quite an understatement. To win with my family there after the roller coaster ride of of Edgar’s first month of life was incredibly special.”
Tim will now put all his energy into preparation for Ironman World Championships in Kona.
