Segafredo renews as co-title sponsor through 2023

We are thrilled to announce that Segafredo will continue the journey as our co-title partner for a further two years

Coffee and bikes have been synonymous since the sport was invented; a natural pairing that has become ingrained in cycling culture over the decades. In 2016 Trek and Segafredo took this to the next level in professional cycling with the launch of the Trek-Segafredo team, which proved to be a perfect blend. Segafredo is an Italian coffee company operating worldwide and forms part of the Massimo Zanetti Beverage Group.

In 2018, Segafredo agreed to join us on another winning partnership with the launch of our women’s team. It was a bold step into the unknown and we’ve never looked back. We’re proud to have a partner that joins us in advancing the sport whilst chasing sporting success.

In the six seasons we’ve spent together there have been many beautiful victories from both teams with the men taking home stages in each Grand Tour, the World Championship and Milan-Sanremo and the women’s team achieving success in the Women’s Tour, Trofeo Alfredo Binda and La Course. We’re excited to continue to grow and experience more emotions together along the way.

It's been a great partnership between two great brands and we're really happy to see that it will continue. Professional cycling is an incredible sport that requires long-term vision and that's exactly why having committed partners from outside the sport like Segafredo is so important for its growth. Between the success of the men's team, and the launch, and incredible success of our amazing women's team, we've accomplished a lot and I’m very excited to see what is still to come.

Massimo Zanetti, CEO and Chairman of Massimo Zanetti Beverage Group, spoke enthusiastically of the renewed agreement: “We are very excited to renew this important partnership between Segafredo and Trek that has brought us great satisfaction over the years. The passion I have for sport, and for cycling in particular, has been with me since I was a child and I am really proud to support Trek-Segafredo in its successes. I hope that in the coming years we can achieve more important goals together.”

Luca Guercilena, General Manager of Trek-Segafredo, added, “In these six years of collaboration we have given momentum and strength to a sports project with big potential. We have invested and sowed the seeds to create a recognizable partnership, with our own style. We are proud that the results, both in terms of sport and image, are rewarding us. But, above all, we are very happy to be able to share again with Segafredo also for the next two years. The enthusiasm and ambition of Trek and Segafredo in supporting the team will allow us to raise the bar even higher.”

A big delivery of Segafredo coffee recently arrived at Trek Milan and it’s time to put it to good use.

Keep the coffee coming, we’re already buzzing!
