Trek-Segafredo welcomes Osprey as its official bag supplier

The Colorado-based company and world-leading brand will outfit the men’s and women’s teams with high-performance luggage

Trek-Segafredo is pleased to announce Osprey, a leader in creating top-quality, high-performance, innovative carry solutions, as the official bag supplier of the men’s and women’s teams for the 2021 season. Osprey will supply bags to support our 43 riders as they compete in more than 125 races over 300 race days and across 12 countries.

“Life in a professional cycling team is one spent mostly on the road, living out of a suitcase. Having gear that can keep up with our heavy demands day in, day out, is vital,” said Matt Shriver, technical manager of Trek-Segafredo. “Osprey’s commitment to quality, durability and sustainable design makes them the ideal partner to equip our teams.”

Osprey will supply each rider with a Transporter Wheeled Duffel 90, a Transporter Wheeled Carry On and a Radial pack.

The Transporter 90 is durable, weather-resistant gear hauler featuring 800D TPU-coated nylon providing incredible abrasion and water resistance.

The smaller Transporter Wheeled Carry On offers the same durability with travel-specific features.

Radial is a bike-friendly 26-liter everyday pack that expands to 34 liters. It features a tensioned mesh backpanel for highly ventilated carrying comfort, a padded laptop sleeve, and an integrated kickstand to keep the pack upright and accessible.

In addition, the Trek-Segafredo staff will be using Osprey’s Farpoint Trek 75.

“Trek-Segafredo is one of the most respected, forward-looking teams in professional cycling,” said Vince Mazzuca, director of marketing at Osprey. “The team possesses the same level of dedication and passion to their sport as we do in the design of our products. We are confident our packs will deliver the durability and functionality required to support their rigorous race schedule.”
