A challenging day for Trek Factory Racing DH
Fort William is a mythical place, felt by many to be one of the most challenging courses on the DH World Cup circuit. It’s technical attributes are already difficult, but when the inevitable foul weather is added, riders can be confronted with a true Goliath.
This year’s edition proved to be one of the most vicious in recent memory, with numerous riders suffering from crashes and injury before and during the race. The Trek program was not saved from the carnage, suffering from a few solid slams in their pursuit of the podium. Overall the weekend was strong learning lesson mixed with a solid result from first year elite rider Kade Edwards, who finished the weekend in 20th.
