Toms Skujins is a dedicated and selfless teammate who always packs a smile wherever he is racing. Alongside his compatriot Emils Liepins, Toms proudly represents the small but mighty nation of Latvia and fight each year for the honor of winning their national championships. Toms is the kind of person who gets as much satisfaction in helping his teammates as he does when taking his own chances and was a key helper during Bauke Mollema’s unforgettable Il Lombardia victory. He is a savvy all-rounder and has notched up 11 wins through the course of his career, including a universally-loved celebration at the Tour of California. More recently, Toms has shown an affinity for directing the team and making quick decisions as a road captain, a role which he relishes.
