Elynor
Backstedt

Elynor stepped into the WorldTour with Lidl-Trek in 2020 at just 18 years old. She was immediately up to the task, which was no surprise given her lineage: Her father, Magnus Bäckstedt, is a former Tour de France stage winner who also won the 2004 edition of Paris Roubaix, and her mother, Megan Hughes, is a former British national road champion. A strong rouleur and time trialist, Elynor strutted her talents in the prologue of the 2022 Lotto Belgium Tour with a second-place finish behind teammate and world time trial champion Ellen van Dijk.
