Mathias Vacek is one of the prodigious few who can say they've won a WorldTour race as a teenager. At just 19 years old, he crossed the line first out of a breakaway at the UAE Tour, and caught the eye of Lidl-Trek in the process. He's been getting fast every year since racing as a stagiaire in 2022. In 2024, he won the Czech individual time trial national title, then had an impressive Vuelta a España, where he three Top 5 stage finishes and was fifth in the points classificaiton. Mathias' future is incredibly bright.
