Mathias Vacek is one of the prodigious few who can say they've won a WorldTour race as a teenager. At just 19 years old, he crossed the line first out of a breakaway at the UAE Tour, and caught the eye of Lidl-Trek in the process. He raced as a stagiaire for the squad in 2022, and took second in the Men's Under-23 World Championship. As a full member of the squad in 2023, he won the Czech men's road race national title and the youth classification at the Baloise Belgium Tour. Mathias future is incredibly bright.
