Natnael is an eager climbing specialist who is seemingly growing faster and more confident with every start. He earned a handful of top 10 finishes in 2023, including third place on a punchy Stage 2 of the Critérium du Dauphiné. Before joining Lidl-Trek, Natnael had been on general manager Luca Guercilena's radar for several years. Likewise, Natnael had always dreamed of joining Lidl-Trek after racing around Asmara, Eritrea’s capital, on a Trek bike as a kid. We can't wait to see how he continues to develop.
