Sam is a veteran climber who is a major asset to the team on high-altitude days. He's a fighter, spending 167 kilometers in the breakaway (!) as he took fourth in a stage of the Vuelta a España in 2024. When stage racing hits steep slopes, look for Sam to be leading Lidl-Trek's support efforts.
