Ben Kanute is an Olympian and world class triathlete. He shines at the middle-distance and full-Ironman racing, taking second at Ironman 70.3 World Championships in 2022, and third at Challenge Roth in 2023. Ben is game for any challenge you throw at him.

Tell us about your greatest achievement as an athlete.
Qualifying for the Olympic Games by running fast and not relying on my usual swim or bike strength. It was at Yokohama WTS and the swim and bike are not as separating, so I had to run fast to secure my spot, and prove everyone wrong who labeled me as just a swim/biker. This was one of my first real breakthroughs as a professional triathlete.
If you could have a dinner party with any three people in the world, alive or dead, who would you pick?
Always a difficult question! Muhammad Ali, Teddy Roosevelt, and a great great grandma or grandpa.
What is your favorite family tradition?
Thanksgiving brunch.
