Giulio
Ciccone

Giulio Ciccone made headlines in his first professional season at the age of 21 when he soloed to an impressive win in stage 10 of the 2016 Giro d’Italia. It was a dramatic victory in his first Grand Tour, but the agile climber surpassed that in his first WorldTour season with Trek-Segafredo. Giulio won his second Grand Tour stage, winning Stage 16 in the 2019 Giro, and also claimed the Maglia Azzurra mountains jersey after holding it for 20 of 21 Stages. He later turned blue into yellow in his Tour de France debut, claiming the coveted yellow jersey with a second-place finish in Stage 6 and holding the race lead for two glorious days.
