Giulio Ciccone made headlines in his first professional season with Pro Continental team Bardiani CSF when he soloed to an impressive win in stage 10 of the 2016 Giro d’Italia. It was a dramatic victory in a Grand Tour for the then 21-year-old, and it drew the attention of many WorldTour teams, including Trek-Segafredo. The following year he won the queen stage atop the grueling Snowbird climb at the Tour of Utah, certifying his talent.  Giulio, 24, is an agile climber and has signed with Trek-Segafredo for the 2019-2020 seasons.
