Relive Emil Johansson’s Rampage journey in video series

Emil gives a raw look at what it takes to compete at MTB's gnarliest event

Red Bull Rampage is much more than a day in the desert. This year, Emil Johansson returned to Utah for the first time since 2019 to take on mountain biking’s gnarliest event, and documented every excruciating detail of the experience in a four-video series on YouTube.

Relive Emil’s journey below — the excitement of his arrival, the long, exhausting dig days, the stress of dialing in his line just hours before his first run, and the raw emotions of completing one of the most ambitious feats in cycling.

Emil was given the Best Style Award for his aerial artistry, and earned an automatic invite to next year’s event with his seventh place finish. We can’t wait to see what he might have in store as an encore.
