Watch the bike build for Reece Wilson’s World Championship Session

World class performance takes world class engineering

The Trek Factory Racing Downhill team’s Session frames for World Championships are fun, subtle tributes to the riders’ home nations. But past the Chroma and tie-dye patterned paint is the bike itself, a meticulously engineered high-pivot downhill frame that’s wicked fast on the toughest terrain. We’re really proud of it.

Reece Wilson is in Val di Sole with pressure on his shoulders to defend his unbelievable 2020 title. Check out the video below, courtesy of SRAM, to watch his bike get built.

Wilson, alongside TFR teammates Loris Vergier and Kade Edwards, will take on qualifications this Friday before racing the final on Sunday. Can he shock the world again? Whatever happens, he’ll have a blast doing it.

For more from Val di Sole, check out the Trek Factory Racing DH Instagram, as well as the Trek Race Shop website. You should also watch Wilson preview the course for Red Bull in Val di Sole with an on-board camera to get a sense of the challenge in store.

And with that, we leave you with a few more glamour shots of Wilson’s bike in the gallery below.
