The second edition of Paris-Roubaix Femmes is going to be awesome
The first-ever edition of Paris-Roubaix Femmes was going to be memorable no matter what happened. But here at Trek-Segafredo, Lizzie Deignan’s 73k solo attack made it indelible.
Deignan won’t return to defend her title in 2022; she recently announced her pregnancy with a second child. But she has no shortage of teammates ready to take the reins, like road race world champion Elisa Balsamo, world time trial champion Ellen Van Dijk, cyclocross star Lucinda Brand, last’s year’s third-place finisher Elisa Longo Borghini and Audrey Cordon-Ragot, who dreams of winning the Hell of the North.
For the second straight year, “The Run Up” is going behind the scenes in the weeks and days leading up to the biggest races in women’s road racing, giving an unprecedented look at the effort and pain it takes to be one of the world’s best cyclists. Watch the first episode of Season 2 now:
Now that you’re fulled amped up for the race, you can tune in to watch Paris-Roubaix Femmes TOMORROW. The race starts at 11 a.m. local time (5 a.m. ET) on Saturday, and racing should last around three hours. Here’s a table of broadcasters by region:
