Payson McElveen’s ultimate adventure machine

A ride for every occassion

Payson McElveen is a man of many talents. He not only tackles rough surfaces of every variety as part of the Orange Seal off-road team, he’s also a cycling gadabout, exploring his world with his bike and learning about his fellow cyclists through his podcast, The Adventure Stache.

So when he put together his new Trek Checkpoint, he emphasized both performance and capability.

Check out the accents on the chain and cassette.

Don't forget the accessories.

McElveen paid special attention to the cockpit. The all-black handlebars and stem come courtesy of Zipp, as does the Quickview Integrated Mount for his bike computer, light and GoPro camera.

The setup is clean, fast and versatile.

That's a squeaky clean cockpit.

The total package.

Perfect for anyone who wants to do it all.

(By the way, you can catch special editions of McElveen’s podcast by hopping on the forthcoming series of Zwift Podcast rides. Join members of the Trek Factory Racing off-road team on a virtual group ride and listen as they discuss their lives in a freewheeling conversation.)
