Oisín O'Callaghan has Trek in his veins. Get to know the ambitious Irishman like never before
Oisín O’Callaghan made one of the biggest headlines of the offseason when he announced that he would be joining Trek-Unbroken DH in 2026. The young Irishman established himself as one of the fastest men in the world over the course of six years with the same team, then became one of the biggest-name free agents when that team folded midseason.
He landed at Trek after establishing a close relationship with the riders and team management during the 2024-25 offseason. But the move is about more than good vibes and a fast bike; O’Callaghan has Trek in his veins. Before he was a pro, he raced on a Viper Red production Trek Session, courtesy of his father’s bike shop — a Trek dealer — in the Ballyhoura Mountains in Ireland.
O’Callaghan’s upbringing has shaped the man he is today. In a new video produced by Sleeper Collective, go in-home with O’Callaghan, ride along his slimy local deer paths, and learn what makes one the most ambitious riders on the World Cup circuit.
The 2026 season is just getting started, and there’s plenty of room aboard the bandwagon. Hop on the journey by following Oisín and Trek-Unbroken DH on Instagram for all the results, riding clips, and behind-the-scenes action you could hope for.
