World Cup team readies for the 2017 season
In its eighth year as a UCI MTB team, Unior Tools Team is looking stronger, and younger, than it ever has before.
Focusing on talent and the riders of tomorrow, look for the Unior program to highlight riders who will contend for wins now and in the future.
Perennial talent Tanja Zakelj once again joins the team. Winner of World Cup races in the Czech Republic and Italy, Tanja is looking to reach the high levels she experienced in 2014 and 2013.
Joining the DH side of the program are Taylor Vernon and Rudy Cabirou. Both riders look to make their mark on the elite categories this year after showing excellent promise in 2016. Taylor comes to team from Trek Factory Racing DH, while Rudy comes to the program after promising results like his top-10 in the 2015 WC Lourdes.
Returning for another season of World Cup DH racing are 2015 Euro DH Champion Ziga Pandur and Jure Zabjek, who continue to develop and learn at the highest level.
