Watch behind the scenes as TFR DH battles the rain and brutal rocks of Fort William

Episode 4 of "Build Up" visits arguably the most punishing downhill race of the year

“It’s a terrifying track in many ways.”

That’s how Reece Wilson describes Fort William, which is returning to the downhill World Cup circuit for the first time in three years. In the latest episode of “Build Up,” you can go behind the scenes for practice and qualis with the Trek Factory Racing DH boys as they wrestle with arguably the most punishing race of the year beneath a rain-heavy Scottish sky.

Watch here:

Qualification runs were brutal on the riders. Somehow, Loris Vergier took a solid P6 and still came off the track feeling like he had “one of the worst runs of my life.” Kade Edwards took P13 to give himself one of the best starting positions of his career. Wilson struggled to tame the track, saying that he “felt like the bike was riding me” on his way to P35. Charlie Harrison, in another bout of bad luck, broke his finger during practice and will be forced to sit the weekend.

The day exemplified just how tough the track really is. If you want to know more, you can read our full preview for even more insight into the team and this ferocious race. And be sure to watch the finals tomorrow live and for FREE on Red Bull TV. The men’s finals will begin at 1:45 p.m. local time, 8:45 a.m. ET.
