Holly takes the win in Mexico
2020 has been extraordinary for all sports, triathlon included. With few opportunities to show up and race, the select chances to do so that remain are precious. Such was the case with IM Cozumel 70.3. Holly Lawrence made the trip to the classic island race, known for being a season finale for many years. Now it’s the season starter, and finish.
Holly made her limited time in 2020 racing count, taking a strong win tape to tape.

“Had a great swim and bike and suffered on the run,” said Holly Lawrence. “With the heat and humidity, the run was just a bear, but I had a big enough buffer to cruise to a win. So happy to get a race and a win in in this crazy time, huge kudos to Cozumel for managing to pull of the race safely!”
