TTT-ing off in style at La Vuelta Femenina

Trek-Segafredo's La Vuelta Femenina sqaud was pleased with their result on the finish line in Torrevieja, stopping the clock third-fastest in the opening team time trial.

The Team is racing La Vuelta Femenina with big ambitions and headed onto the start ramp with a strong seven-rider line-up in Elynor Bäckstedt, Lizzie Deignan, Lisa Klein, Gaia Realini, Ilaria Sanguineti, Amanda Spratt, and Tayler Wiles.

4th fastest at the first intermediate checkpoint of the 14.5-kilometer course, Trek-Segafredo continued to ride together strongly and smoothly with the first five riders eventually stopping the clock at 18 minutes 12 seconds, which was eventually enough to secure third place on the day.

Ahead of the Team Jumbo-Visma took the stage win in a time of 18 minutes 3 seconds with Canyon // SRAM Racing just a second behind them.
