The Classics have begun.
The season of cold, rain, mud, cobblestones and sharp climbs make for some of the most exhilarating racing to be found. It takes intense concentration by each rider all race, a full team effort, good legs, and luck. Even then, nothing can be taken for granted.
The women raced their first Classics, Omloop het Nieuwsblad followed by Omloop van het Hageland, and photographer Jojo Harper captured the ambiance that can only be found in Belgium in the spring.
