The opening weekend of the Spring Classics is upon us, and this year we have double the excitement with the Trek-Segafredo women’s and men’s teams racing Omloop Het Nieuwsblad on Saturday, March 2.
The women’s course is 123-kilometers long and features five cobblestone sections and 10 climbs and is expected to finish around 3 pm CET (9 am EST), 90mins ahead of the men, and will be streamed live via the Proximus Sports Facebook page.
The women’s team trained over the cobbled roads and climbs Thursday to recon the first big spring Classic of 2019, and photographer Jojo Harper was there to capture all the action.
