'The Run Up' returns for the RideLondon Classique. WATCH NOW

So long to the one-day classics. It’s time for the women’s peloton to dive right into stage racing, a whole new challenge that tests riders’ ability to persevere in addition to their strength and tactical nous.

The RideLondon Classique is one of the most stunning races on the calendar, with a third stage finale that takes place in the heart of London. The beauty of stage racing is its evolving storylines. Races like RideLondon are an opportunity to see young riders come into their own and previously unheralded riders earn their first tastes of glory, as well as crown a general classification champion at the end of hard-fought racing.

In Episode 2 of “The Run Up,” go behind the scenes with Liv Cycling Xstra and Trek-Segafredo as the two teams battle through the grueling days of Itzulia Women before beginning their prep for what should be an epic RideLondon Classique.
