Trek-Segafredo continues its investment in young talent by adding Mattias Skjelmose to its 2021 team. In 2020, the 20-year-old Dane had his first taste of pro cycling as a stagiaire with Trek-Segafredo. He impressed by making a notable bridge into the breakaway in the Flanders Classic, Brabantse Pijl. Mattias is a strong all-rounder with particular strength in time trials, shown by his results in the Junior Nations Cup events.
