Jackson Goldstone debuts custom Session in Crankworx Rotorua Whip-Off
As Canadian Jackson Goldstone prepares to throw it down at Crankworx in New Zealand this week, he has an extra slick bike under him. Jackson will ride his new Session at the Rotorua Whip-Off, an evening event which sets the tone for a dark and dramatic competition.
“It is so sick. I love the different colors of black and moonshine,” Jackson said. “This is my first year doing the whip-off in Crankworx Rotorua, and it’s a night whip-off, so this bike is perfect.”
The misty mountainous moon scene extending across the frame is ideal for his nighttime tricks.
The bike’s design throws mysterious clouds across a series of mountaintops and features a full moon at the top of the frame.
16-year-old Jackson is traveling from his home in British Colombia to take part in Crankworx Rotorua. He will compete on this moon-themed Session under a big bright night sky with the next full moon in New Zealand occurring on March 10.
The Rotorua Crankworks is set in a region of New Zealand known for its hot springs and volcanic mountains. The competition is on the edge of Lake Rotorua, a volcano crater turned lake.
Jackson’s evening ride will be one to watch.
